Meet the UCA Youth Council

Gordon Li - Executive

Gordon is a rising first-year at the NYU Stern School of Business. A graduate of Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Gordon served as a senator, class president, and student body president, tirelessly advocating for more diversity and transparency in the student government and school administration. Outside of school, Gordon enjoys music, reading books, watching documentaries, hiking, biking, and playing piano and trumpet. Gordon hopes to use UCA as a platform for educating others about Chinese-American culture and history as a way of fostering open discussion and increased understanding among individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Allie Guo - Coordinator

Allie is a currently a rising junior at the Noble & Greenough School (Nobles) in the Greater Boston area. She was excited to join UCA because it offered her the perfect opportunity to connect with individuals across the nation with the same background as her and increased her own personal civil engagement, while encouraging others to do the same. Allie has always wanted to encourage Asian-American visibility and representation across all professions and throughout all facets of life, and she has felt like UCA has provided her with the perfect way to pursue this interest. She gets to share my story and help this incredible nonprofit with their mission to bring together Chinese-American citizens across the world. Aside from UCA, Allie is also on her city's youth advisory board, and in her free time, Allie can be found with my friends, baking, or rowing competitively for my school.
